SACA - SWISS A-CLASS ASSOCIATION

International swiss open ACat regatta, 6 races, more than 50 boats including foils and classics from Switzerland, Italy, Germany, France, Holland, Czech Republic.
First day without wind. On Saturday and Sunday there were two races in the morning with thermal wind from the north and one race in the afternoon with wind between 10-12 Knt.
Not always predictable races in the tactical field where changes of leadership were frequent!
Lamberto, Robin and Dodè proved to be excellent opponents with each excellent skills in speed and tactics!

Pour le championnat d’Allemagne se déroulant a Malcesine, toutes les conditions étaient réunies:

-Beaucoup d’inscrits: 63 bateaux

-Du haut niveau: Misha, Kuba et la Team Squad

-Météo plutôt bonne: soleil mais vent du sud en altitude et quelques orages sur les sommets

Club parfaitement organisé et sympathique.

Nachdem die Regatta von Bevaix die letzten beiden Jahre Windpech hatte wurde sie dieses Jahr
statt im Herbst schon letztes Wochenende vom 13-14 Mai durchgeführt. Mit 17 Booten war die Regatta
gut besucht. Obwohl die Wetter- und Windprognose eher unbeständig waren hofften die Segler darauf,
dass sich die Biese möglichst durchsetzen würde. Die Regattaleitung schickte die Segler dann auch
zügig aufs Wasser und interessierte Zuschauer konnten die Regatta am Samstag auf einem
Zuschauerboot aus den Nähe verfolgen.

Malgré la météo peu favorable, 6 membres ont fait le déplacement de la Nautique à Genève, qui organisait son Geneva Foiling Grand Prix le week-end du 29-30 avril.

Pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas l'endroit, il faut montrer patte blanche pour y entrer: être membre avec carte, ou convraincre la cerbère de l'accueil que "oui il y a une régate ce week-end et oui vous seriez gentille de m'ouvrir la porte". Passé cet écueil les voileux de la SNG sont beaucoup plus accueillants et nous aident à décharger embarquations et matériel.

Vorneweg möchte ich betonen, dass ich die Foilerpiloten bewundere und tief beeindruckt bin, wie die Jungs ihre Boote bei Garda-Bedingungen um den Regattakurs jagen. Vom Renngeschehen selbst habe ich jedoch zu wenig mitbekommen, um darüber zu schreiben. Vielleicht übernimmt das ja noch jemand aus der Foilerkategorie...
