The Swiss Open Championship took place on Lake Silvaplana from Sunday 19.8 to Tuesday 21.8. The famous Engadin sailing spot provided a lot of fun to A-Cat and Tornado sailors. The weather was stunning, with day temperatures over 25°, something you normaly not see in this heights - remember we were sailing on the altitude of 1'800 meter !

Altough a few good sailors could not make it for the event (notably Sascha Wallmer, Thierry Boisbouvier and Eugenio Calabria), 35 people came to Sils/Silvaplana to enjoy sailing in this beautiful location.

The Maloja wind did not start before 13:45 today, and the last possible start was at 14:00, so the race committee didn't send us on the water.

Even if the regata was only starting on Sunday, many people already came on Saturday to enjoy the fantastic conditions we have in Silvaplana, Swiss Engadin. Malgré nos efforts, nous n'avons pas pu trouver de club qui nous organise une régate les 2 et 3 juin en remplacement d'Ascona.

Trotz unserer Bemühungen, waren wir nicht in der Lage, einen Verein zu finden, dass anstelle von Ascona eine Regatta am 2. und 3. Juni organisieren würde.
