Worlds 2022 - boat park visit, inauguration of the HYC season

Big party at the Houston Yacht Club, this week-end marks the debut of their season, everyone wearing ties and dresses for the occasion.

Commodore Fontenot leaded the show, with a large attendance watching attentively as flags where hoisted and the cannon was fired multiple times. The USA have always surprised me with their ceremonies and very vivace ways of nurturing their traditions, once again it was an impressive show!

The wind was again strong today, so the whole boat park was on its usual mission: trim and re-trim until it's trimmed to the last half-degree.

From what I saw on the boat parks, no major new system or settings, beside the usual refinements. The american boys are using an interesting adjustment for their trapeze, having the height control above the pulley. I will picture it soon.
