Practical information concerning Easter SACA Training Camp in Port-Camargue FRA

Dear Mates,

First of all I wish you a beautiful and healthy New Year 2020. Hoping that you already optimizing your physical conditions in preparation for the new A-cat season.

As you can see on the SACA.ch webpage (regatta>Event Calendar) we organise from Saturday 11th to Saturday 18 th April 2020 the Easter SACA Training Camp in Port-Camargue (South France), with this time no limit of numbers of boats !

As promise here some Practical Information :

1. PARKING :

- Our A-cats will be parked in front of the Yacht club « Le Ponant » behind the « Harbor Office » (capitainerie), close to the slipway and freshwater spray.
- Possibility to fixed boats to trailers
- Bars and restaurants are open close to club
- Possibility to use the UCPA changing rooms and showers

2. ACCOMMODATION :

"Tarif studio à 310 € la semaine (pour 1 couple) avec linges de lit, de toilette et forfait ménage fin de séjour inclus gratuitement.
Tarif appartement 410 € la semaine (pour 1 ou 2 couples) avec linges de lit, de toilette et forfait ménage fin de séjour inclus gratuitement.

Nous disposons actuellement de 5 studios et de 2 appartements.
Tous nos logements sont meublés avec climatisation réversible, double vitrage et volets roulants.

Nous pouvons également proposer la villa qui se situe au 75 impasse des palans et qui offre deux chambres séparées et deux salles d'eau, au tarif de 830 € la semaine (linges de lit, de toilette et forfait ménage fin de séjour inclus gratuitement)

Nous appliquerons également une remise de 10 % supplémentaire sur l'ensemble de la location.

La résidence se situe en bordure du centre commercial camargue 2000 à 200 mètres de la capitainerie. »

3. COACHING :

We have the honor and opportunity to be allowed to count on the coaching competences of Tymoteusz Bendyk (« Tymek » POL15) this year. (Bronze at the Worlds 2019, Weymouth UK) for 4 sailing day’s from Tuesday 14th to Friday 17th April.

The goals during the sessions will be to work on boat handling (Upwind/Upwind foiling, downwind foiling, tacking & jibing) and optimizing boat setting (rudders rake, daggerboards rake, Differential system, mast rake and mast bend), Maneuvers (optional)

Possibilities of videos from board and from the rib, onshore video analysis, walk to boat setup (rudders, daggerboards, all ropes and systems), test sailing on the boat.

New this year is that we will use helmets with communication system (#6).

! Limited number of participators for coaching : #5 ! … "First come first served ! »

-Cost coaching will be : 280 Euro /Sailor (for 4 day’s)

+ plus divided costs : - Transport : flight (430,-Euro) +carRental (180,- Euro) + fuel (35,-Euro) (total 645 Euro)
- Accomoddation
- Rib (LOMAC) with fuel (rib for free)
for Tymek.

The final count (divided costs) will be done at Friday 17th April (evening) after last training session.
