Swiss container for Florida/USA 2020

Dear swiss members, fellow neighbours,

I'm investigating the possibility and interest for a swiss container going to the Worlds Championships in Florida/USA, october 2020. I have requested quotes and a timeplan. I should have more news from the shipping company begining of 2020.

Those who have interest should email me. This is currently without financial impact, only an evaluation. The process will then work as follow :

• estimate pricing and schedule
• when at least 6 people want to go, start the project
• SACA and foreign members have the possibility to join
• registration deadline set
• if at least 6 boats :
• everyone send me the money
• you cannot take the money back, as I don't want to carry the financial risk (unless you find a replacement)
• If SACA helps financially, the help goes to SACA members only
• paperwork
• boat loading, around beginning of August, either in Basel or in Biel
• container set to arrive on site not later than 10.10.2020
• sailing
• load for return on Friday 30.10 + Saturday 31.10
• container back to Switzerland : date not known yet, awaiting proposal

IMPORTANT : as long as the minimal 6 members haven't signed I would recommend to wait before booking flights and accommodation.
