During the SACA annual meeting of 21.1.2012, a new Personal Sail Number allocation system has been voted. Following that decision, the SACA Committee has implemented a few rules to regulate the allocation for Personal Sail Numbers between 5 and 99.
The rules are defined in the attached document.
The transitory procedure took place from Saturday 28.1.2012 to Friday 17.2.2012. From now on, the allocation procedure is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Requests for new numbers must be submitted by email to the president of the class. The request shall contain your desired Personal Sail Number in the allowed range (5-99), and your date of entry to the SACA.
As of 20.11.2016, the following numbers are allocated in the range 1-99:
Please note that Boat Sail Numbers in the range 231-900 are still available for free, for each boat introduced or made in Switzerland, and provided by the class president as well.
In a few words, what should you do in a few common situations.
