Alinghi 5 is just a gigantic A-Cat

Look at the pics of my friend Claude Wehrli on http://www.cwphoto.ch/galeries/alinghi/alinghi090728/index.html, especially picture 47, the hull shape is copied from Luc's G5 :-)
Interesting pic 36 : even with the left hull out of the water, the front part of the right hull is still well out of the water. Hopefully, they shall have less nose-dive effect than Oracle has experienced.

Schön, dass das auch anderen auffällt. Sogar der Name AL5 vs. G5 ist nicht von sehr weit her.
Wir nehmen das aber als Kompliment auf und gestehen, dass auch der Scheurer G5 mit den neuen runden Schwertern vom Gendakenaustausch profitieren konnte. Ziel ist, das Katamaransegeln einen grossen Schritt weiter zu bringen.
