HOWTO Post to the SACA Web

A few hints and rules to assist you in posting content to our SACA Web.

Content

• Be proud for your spelling. SMS language is undesired.
• You can comment on forum topics
• Insults and flames will result in a ban. Keep your strong words for water-time.
• You can edit and even delete your own content.
• If you attach documents to your content, please use the PDF format. Winword is a proprietary format and will disappear from the planet soon after Microsoft will go bankrupt. If you need a PDF generator, go to http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/

Privileges

• SACA forums are available to all A-Cat sailors (not only SACA)
• You need an account to contribute content.
• Accounts must be activated by the webmaster before being usable.
• Per decision of the committee, we don't wan't anonymous content. Therefore, when requesting an account, use a name we can match. Good example : hmueller for Hans Müller. Bad example : fastcat (only Glen is allowed to use this username)
• add some details about yourself in the signature (eg sail number)
